Background:

It all started with a 110 film camera found in the closet of an old estate. The neighbor had passed, and the community was asked to come in and save anything from the dump that we found interesting. As I held the tiny camera in my hand, a 1970s Argus Carefree 110, I wondered what memories it might have captured. I slide open the back of the film bay and uncovered a roll of film still inside with the time-tarnished label, “Made in West Germany”. I set off to develop it and carefully waited for its results. The film was processed at a lab that specializes in developing 110 film, which is now a largely discontinued film format. The result was a roll of images lost to time. I was disappointed but also interested to try it with my own luck. I went out and bought a fresh roll of 110 film and wanted to see what it was like to shoot analogue. With a camera in hand, I took to the city and shot my first film images since I was a child with a disposable camera. From there, I purchased my first SLR film camera and have been slowly growing my collection of lenses and cameras. Please enjoy some of my favorite images below.
